Comments : I have worked with both Gary and Diane Lackey and every time is a great experience. They are very thorough with the exams and will allow you to be in the room during most exams/procedures. They will provide you with an estimate prior to having any procedures done. We had to have several teeth excised from our older cat Roxy and the price (while comparable to what other providers would charge) was more than we had available. They worked with my husband and I to allow us to have her teeth removed, cleaned, and alleviating her pain as soon as possible. I am so glad that we did not have to wait to get her treated because we didn't have all the money up front. We acquired another cat Matilda shortly after and the Hwy30 Vet clinic was quick to get her worked in on our schedule. They allow us to bring in both cats at once and board them during the day if we have to work instead of taking time off. The last time I was in the office I brought both cats in, one for an annual exam and the other for a semi-annual exam. Roxy decided it would be a good idea to relieve her bladder while I was holding her in the front entrance. The staff was great, they washed my shoes off, cleaned up the mess, and made me feel better about the whole situation. One of the vet techs even held Roxy while Matilda was finishing up her exam which took another 15 minutes; she is older and gets scared easily. I forgot the medicine that I purchased during their visit when I left and the receptionist offered to drop it off during her lunch break. Where do you get that kind of service anymore? They go above and beyond not only in customer service, but in their veterinary services. They are extremely thorough in their exams and truly enjoy the animals that are brought in for their care. I will be using them for as long as I can!

Comments : I have a chihuahua that weighs about 4 lbs. I was very impressed that Dr. Lackey was able to spay her even though she is so tiny. Zip is healthy & happy. She loves going to Highway 30 Veterinary Clinic because of all the attention she gets from the technicians!
